With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through fabric and colors, Timothy Bowman brings theatrical worlds to life across South Florida. Based in the region’s vibrant arts scene, Timothy has designed costumes for productions at institutions like Florida Atlantic University, TheatreLab, and Plays of Wilton, and collaborates frequently with local theatre companies and independent projects.
Currently
Timothy currently works as a shop manager and adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University, as well as the resident wardrobe supervisor at TheatreLab,. Florida Atlantic University's on campus professional theatre company. Timothy also works as as an independent designer at many South Florida Theatre Companies and schools, combining his passion for costumes and teaching.
Vision
Timothy sees costumes as extensions of story and character. His collaborative spirit ensures each piece supports the director’s vision and actors’ needs, blending comfort, durability, and theatrical flair. Timothy is deeply passionate about incorporating new techniques and ideas into his designs, blending fabrics, colors, patterns, and historical periods to further develop the visual world of the show.
